Last updated 15 October 2026

This policy explains what personal information this website handles, why, and the choices you have. It is written with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act in mind.

Who is responsible

BioPerform, editorial office, Alberta, Canada, reachable at editor@bioperforms.com, is responsible for personal information handled through this site.

What we collect

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect payment details, because nothing is sold on this site.

Why we use it

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the site, such as our hosting provider and measurement tools, and only as far as needed for that purpose, or where the law requires it. Some of these providers may store data outside Canada, in which case it may be accessible to authorities in those countries under their laws.

How long we keep it

Correspondence is kept for as long as needed to deal with it and then deleted. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security purposes.

Your choices and rights

You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw consent to its use, subject to legal limits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. To make a request, write to editor@bioperforms.com. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta.
